My Favorite Breastfeeding Products

Hello Fellow Lactators and their Sympathizers! Just a quick post today with some of my favorite products.

1) Boob Ease - Helps when things are feeling tender. If this doesn't ease most discomfort, ask your obstetrician or midwife for some All Purpose Nipple Ointment or APNO.
2) Breast Pads - these babies can be cooled in the freezer or heated up in the microwave to ease whatever discomfort you're feeling! Great for the early days when you're engorged and need the cold, and also good to save in case you end up with mastitis or a clogged duct and need some heat therapy.
3) Hakaa - the Hakaa is great to use while you're nursing especially when your supply is regulating. You can catch any leakage with the Hakaa. It takes a little getting used to, but it stays on with suction.

Spectra S2 - Hopefully, your insurance covers your breast pump and you can get this bad boy. This pump is amazing. It's so efficient and quiet. I highly recommend it!
Lansinoh Pump - I used this pump's grandmother. It didn't have the smart phone linking option but it was a great pump. It was sent to me from Influenster and I loved it. I ended up preferring this over the Medela one that I had received from insurance.  This one also has a battery option so it was great if I needed to pump somewhere without easy access to a plug. I used it as a back up pump after I had Maple and it still worked like it was brand new.
Lansinoh Nursing Bra -  This bra makes pumping so much easier! Lansinoh sent me this bra to try and I would definitely suggest getting one if you are going to be working and pumping. But don't actually do work while you pump. Keep those hands free to look at pictures of your babe on your phone, read a book, eat a yummy snack or whatever self care you feel like doing. Pumping is stressful enough, so keep it as stress free as possible!

Lactamed Hands Free Bra - I had this bra before the Lansinoh one. It works great and may be all you need depending on your breast size.
Nursing Tanks - I basically lived in these for like three years. I still wear one to bed most nights. Sorry, husband!
Brallelujah - I never found a nursing bra that I loved but I love this bra. It's easy to push the cup down and nurse in and it holds everything in and up.

Happy Nursing, friends!
