Current Favorite Products

Hello friends!

I haven't been blogging much because I've been soaking up the four days of summer that we get here in New England. But I have been obsessively, as always,  trying to keep my skin looking younger and fresher than its 38 years. So I thought I'd pop on to share some of my current favorite products.

1) Bed Head Wave Iron - After the week that I've had with my hair, I'm not sure that I should be giving hair advice. And I definitely won't ever tell you to try to DIY a balyage on yourself and then tone it out two days later. But I will recommend this wave iron. It gives me beachy waves in like seven minutes! The trick is to alternate between horizontal and vertical sections of hair. My husband saw it and was sure that I had spent over a $100 bucks on this fancy little contraption, I was happy to report that it was under 30!

2) Microneedler - I've mentioned this one before but its worth repeating. I love this thing. I've been using it on my lips and they are noticeably fuller and plumper! I use it about once a month.

3) Facial Cupping Set - This is a newer adventure for me. I've been using it a few times a week and my skin has been feeling smoother. If nothing else, its very satisfying to use once you get the hang of it. I had to watch a few tutorials on youtube.

4) Acure Brightening Facial Scrub- I needed a new exfoliator and this one is perfect. Its cruelty-free and gets the job done! I use it a few times a week.

5) Foot Peel - I've posted about this before but I wanted to say that my feet are still super smooth!

6) Body Shop Bouncy Mask - The bff and I had so much fun checking being treated like Queens and checking out all the skincare goodies at the Northshore Mall location. This was by far my favorite. Full of plant stem cells, it leaves my skin feeling, well bouncy! Super moisturizing. I use it almost every night.

7) Frownies - I've done a whole post on the wonders of these little guys but wanted to give another update. I''m still using them and still noticing their magic. I wear them once or twice a week at this point, and definitely notice my forehead being a bit smoother. The wrinkles aren't completely gone, but I'm cool with that because I like my forehead to move.

8) Zombie Mask - another repeat, but I'm still enjoying this mask every other week or so. It tightens things up and reduces some redness. It does dry my skin out a bit, so I make sure to use the Bouncy Mask after. They say its a dupe for the Hanacure Mask.

9) Trader Joe's Ultra Hydrating Gel Moisturizer - I saved the best for last! This moisturizer is reportedly a dupe for La Mer. And while I can't compare, I can say that this moisturizer is amazing. It is so hydrating and has decreased my redness considerably! I don't have a link, but you can find it at TJ's!

10) Giore Blue Tansy Facial Oil - I am loving this multitasking oil. It has reduced some redness, packs some major hydration and soothes after the sun. I've noticed that my foundation glides on after I use it and doesn't get cakey later in the day.

11) Coola Mineral Sun Silk Creme Influenster sent me this sunscreen to try at the begining of the summer and it is my new favorite. It's lightweight and doesn't break me out. It doesn't have a smell, make-up goes on over it without a problem and I haven't gotten a sunburn when I've used it!

And finally, I came up with a trick. When I have extra product, I've been rubbing it on the backs of my hands. Hands show the signs of aging just as much as our faces, so why not give them a little love, too?

Anybody have any good products to recommend?
