Derma-E Review

As I am sure that you are all aware by now; I love skincare. But not just any skincare, it has to not only work wonders on my 35+ year old skin but it has to be from an ethical brand. Derma-E checks off all of those boxes and more! Derma-E is cruelty-free, 100% vegan, and excludes over 2,000 harmful ingredients. Their products are also gluten, soy and GMO free. They're packaging is recyclable and they use wind energy!

I was delighted to receive a complimentary box of their products to test out. You can check out their products here, but I will link to them individually as well!

Blue Light Shield Concentrated Serum & Shield Spray

I think I was most excited about trying these two products. My face is being exposed to a lot more screen time than it's used to - thank you to my phone for reminding me just how much! Both products smell delicious and fresh and are filled with adaptogens like Blue Green Algae, Activated Charcoal, Ginseng and Lutein to help hydrate and protect your skin.

I have been using the Serum as part of my evening routine and have noticed my skin feeling more moisturized in the morning!

I love using the Spray to set my make-up. The mist on this baby is one of the best I have ever used!

Sun Defense Mineral Sunscreen

This little duo also came at the perfect time since the sun is finally starting to say hello here in Massachusetts! I am always excited to try new clean sunscreens and these are free of fragrance but filled with Vitamin E and Green Tea to leave your skin feeling soft. Both are broad spectrum, block UVA/UVB rays and offer SPF 30 protection.

I absolutely love the Body sunscreen. It rubs in smoothly and has just the faintest smell that reminds me of the beach!

The Face sunscreen offers great protection and goes on smoothly. I will say, it is hard to rub in all the way and does leave a bit of white cast.

Anti-Wrinkle Toner

This is a solid toner. It smells so fresh - all of their products do. Its refereshing but not drying. Toners are the one thing that I tend to forget about so I am happy to have a new one in my skincare routine!

Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citrus Facial Peel

Masks and peels are my absolute favorite part of my repertoire. I have tried so many different ones but this was like no other! This peel goes on kind of chunky and after five minutes, it is even chunkier. It comes with a little spatula for application and removal. You really do need it for removal, it helps get the wet chunks off. I know I'm not making this sound very appealing, but it leaves your skin feeling supple and moisturized. I had some redness that went away within an hour. I slathered with moisturizer and woke up with fresh skin!

Overall, I am super impressed with these products and highly recommend them! I love how clean they are and the price points are great, too. You can find them at Ulta, Target, Whole Foods and of course, the Derma-E website, too.

Thanks, Derma-E!!
