It's Boobie Week!

It's World Breastfeeding Week!  Breastfeeding is by far one of the most amazing things that I have ever done. It's something that I've become super passionate about. Whenever I have the opportunity to answer someone's question, recommend a product that has helped me, give a tip of some kind or educate, I get excited. I've contemplated going back to school to become a lactation consultant. But until then, I consider myself a breastfeeding advocate and what better platform than my own blog to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week.

I am going to have daily posts this week covering different aspects of breastfeeding from my personal journey to my favorite products and even a recipe for Lactation Balls.

I think the best way that I can be an advocate for Breastfeeding is to talk about it. I'm not an expert and sadly most pediatricians aren't either. It's so sad to see some of the posts people write on various breastfeeding groups on Facebook. Doctors giving wrong information or encouraging weaning to soon or for absolutely ridiculous reasons. I'm always happy to share the facts when I know them. But the number one thing that I feel I can do is to normalize it: by talking about it, doing it, doing it in public, answering questions, and educating. So here I am.
